Youth found murdered at Diva

DIVA: Residents of the Dativli village in Diva discovered the body of a youth near the village lake. The police strongly feel that the case is that of murder, but have not been able to arrest anyone in connection with the crime.
According to information available from the police, the cops received a telephone call from some unidentified resident informing it of the body lying near the lake in the heart of the village.The cops reached the site and recovered the body of the youth and began their preliminary probe into the case. The body bore marks of violence all over with traces of cement and sand on it.
It appeared from the wounds that the deceased was assaulted with articles used by workers involved in civil constructions. Still the police are waiting for the autopsy report to ascertain the exact cause of the death.
The police registered an offence of murder against unidentified persons and began probe in the case.
The police have identified the body to be that of one Yogesh Shyam Sircut, aged 24. The cops informed that Yogesh was a criminal on record of the Mumbra police station.
He used to work as a labourer in some building constructions in Diva. The area around the site of the recovery of the dead body is home of scores of labourers involved in civil constructions.
The police have rounded up several persons from the area for interrogation but have not been able to come across the person involved in the crime.
